Graz was a very pleasant surprise, considering that it is such a big city. Actually, it gives an impression of a pretty small town where the flow of life is even slower than that of the river Mur which divides Graz in two.
The morning ritual of the local people includes a newspaper, a croissant and melange. They like sitting in the Sun and taking it easy. Work can always wait.
The name of the town was given by the Slovenians who called it Gradec. To tell you the truth, I didn't see any Slovenians there. I guess beer is not their thing.
This is weird because the beer is very tasty in the Steyr district.
